A high-airflow ventilator fan designed to control the temperature and humidity levels of your observatory. This system can also reduce humidity levels to prevent mold growth or condensation,Fans are set to blow towards the mounting frame. Features a LCD display with smart thermostat and dehumidistat control, as well as customizable fan speeds. Included corded sensor probe plugs into the controller to provide temperature and humidity readings. Heavy-duty build includes a anodized aluminum mounting frame and IP-44 rated fans. Features dual 120mm PWM-controlled DC fans that are highly efficient in maximizing airflow at lower noise and power levels. Includes hardware and 6-foot corded power supply needed to mount the unit onto a surface and power it through an outlet.
The controller included with each unit features active temperature and humidity monitoring. Fan speeds can be programmed to automatically adjust to high and low temperatures and humidity. The program can also set the fans to run continuously or on a timer at custom speeds. Also features alarm warnings, fan failure alerts, eco-mode, and backup memory. Includes a 12-foot corded sensor probe. Up to two fans can be linked to one controller to share the same programming.
The fan system is enclosed in heavy-duty aluminium with spiral fan guards. Utilizing DC motors that are controlled using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), the fans can maximize airflow while reducing noise and power consumption. In addition, the 120mm fan is IP-44 rated to be highly resistant to liquids and dust particles. The motor houses dual-ball bearings rated at 67,000 hours and are certified by CE and RoHS.
If you are concerned with inside temperature and humidity of your NexDome, this kit is for you. Our tests show that due to NexDome's design the inside tempreture in hot days is always at least 5 degrees Celcius lower than outside temperature but to help reducing the temperature and humidity we offer you this ventilation kit. Set the desired tempreture on the thermostat and the high power brushless vent will move the hot air outside.
Our tests show that the NexDome Ventilation Kit reduces 5 to 10 degrees (when shutter and door are closed) Celsius in the first hour of operation. See the chart in the picture galley of this product for a 14 day range in Aug. The red line is the outside temprature and blue is the inside the observatory temprature.
This hassel free and automatic ventilation kit is a must for those who are concerned about temperature and condensation build up in their observatory.
The included industrial fan runs on 12 volt (110V adapter included) so it can run on both battery or AC.
The vent protective vent hood includes one way flap.
Also on the thermostat panel includes a humidity and temprature indicator.
The installation is very easy and straight forward. We provide the template for the holes you need to make and all the hardware required is included. If you already don't have a NexDome we can make the holes for you if you wish before shipping the observatory to you.
